From July 13th to 14th, 2026, WebX 2026, Asia's most influential international Web3 conference, was held in Tokyo, Japan.
The conference brought together government representatives, industry leaders, technology companies, developers, investment institutions, and ecosystem builders from around the world to discuss the development direction of AI, digital finance, blockchain infrastructure, and the Web3 industry.
As a Gold Sponsor of this year's conference, BOT Chain showcased its AI-Native blockchain infrastructure and ecosystem development achievements in Tokyo, engaging in in-depth exchanges with builders from around the world to jointly explore the future opportunities of AI × Web3.
At the WebX 2026 opening ceremony, Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi delivered a video address, reaffirming the Japanese government’s continued support for Web3, innovation, and entrepreneurship, and outlining the government’s latest initiatives in startup support, industrial investment, and policy optimization.
During the conference, Ryoichi Akazawa, Japan’s Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, along with representatives from globally renowned organizations and companies such as Binance, Coinbase, Visa, Uniswap, Hypernative, and Fanlink, attended and shared their perspectives, jointly exploring the future development of the digital economy and Web3.
Tokyo once again served as a major stage where global innovative forces converged.
On the first day of the conference, Alexander Ververis, Founding Architect & CTO of BOT Chain, took the Visionary Stage to deliver a keynote speech titled:
“BOT Chain: Building the Next-Generation AI-Native blockchain Infrastructure”
The presentation focused on AI-Native public blockchain architecture, AI Agent infrastructure, and global ecosystem development, sharing BOT Chain’s latest technical practices in the AI × Web3 field.
Alexander noted that as AI Agents gradually become key participants in the digital economy, future blockchains will not only handle value settlement but must also serve as critical infrastructure for the operation, collaboration, and value exchange of intelligent agents.
The event attracted numerous developers, industry guests, and ecosystem partners who stopped to listen and engage in discussions about the development trends of AI-native infrastructure.
In addition to the official keynote speech, the BOT Chain booth ( G44 ) also served as a key networking hub at the conference.
